Classroom Rules & Policies

*As a 4th grade class we created our own classroom rules. the students all signed the rules agreeing to follow them throughout the school year. Here is what they came up with!!

Rules:

1. Raise your hand and do not speak when others are speaking

2. keep your hands to yourself

3. use polite manners

4. stay out of others desks and lockers

5. think about telling before you tell

6. listen to the teacher

7. no bullying

 

Policies:

- Students will have homework in 4th grade. they will be expected to return their homework the next school day for complete credit. Each day an assignment is late, points will be deducted.

- There will be tests in 4th grade. Students will be responsible for studying on their own. Study guides will typically be sent home 2-3 days before a test.

- cheating is not allowed. if a students is caught cheating he/she will receive a "0" for that test or assignment.

- assignment notebooks need to be written in. Students will need to have parent signatures after completion of their homework. Students will be awarded for an accumulation of signatures at the end of the month.

- not only will students be responsible for specific goals each month for book-it, but they will also be responsible for a certain number of AR points each month.
